Gucci GG Marmont Mini
This new collection by Alessandro Michele is once again influenced by Gucci’s historical tradition, recreating Gucci’s iconic monogram, the GG diamond pattern, from the archives . The print dates back to the ’30s and was the inspiration for Michele’s latest collection. The GG diamond pattern is reimagined in a bold colorblock palette, adding life to the brand’s signature monogram print.
Through a colorful new lens, the Gucci GG Multicolor collection is not only a celebration of Gucci’s past, but also a playful nod to the present and the future. From RTW and shoes to the brand’s signature accessories, a full range of monogrammed graphics and vibrant colorways can be seen, while also incorporating a variety of new possibilities from the Gucci archives.
To showcase the collection, Alessandro Michele and his team created an imaginary beauty salon within the context of the GG Multicolor campaign. Fan-favorite bags like the Marmont, Duffle, and Belt Bag are presented in bold colorblocks and bright solids. Also seen in the collection is a special edition Marmont with a colorful floral appliqué overlaid with a colorful monogram pattern.
